  • What types of transformations can I achieve through coaching?

    Most people begin Transformation Coaching to lose stubborn fat however in the process they discover increased energy, better sleep, mindset and digestion. The transformation process is holistic from the inside out. Most clients lose 10 - 25 lbs of fat and 10X their energy in the first 3 months.

  • What is the cost of Transformation Coaching?

    We prefer to tell you the investment only after we show you how the program works so that you can see the value. We are happy to discuss this in your free health consultation should you be interested in joining.

  • How long does a typical Transformation Coaching program last?

    The average client stays with us for 6 to 12 months. Results are fast but for true transformation to occur we recommend committing to the program for one year. The longer you stay in the program, the more ingrained the lifestyle changes become and the better the changes of sustained results.

  • Can I combine Transformation Coaching with other services or therapies?

    Transformation coaching focuses on nutrition and lifestyle changes to optimize health. Combining this with an exercise program is highly encouraged to expedite results.

    We offer a free 30-45 minute health consultation to answer any questions you have and to determine if the program is right for you.

Your Transformation Coaches

JOSHUA ALLEN

Josh is the creator and lead coach for LeanDads. He is a natural born leader and always had a passion for helping people become healthier and better versions of themselves. He began his journey by studying Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario, graduating in 2000. He has since been in the personal training industry and went on to open two studios, one in Toronto and Oakville in 2012.


In 2016 his health came to a screeching halt when years of inadequate nutrition and high stress took its toll.  “My sleep became a constant battle, I had anxiety, chronic fatigue and put on fat weight. This was extremely hard for me as a young father and ambitious entrepreneur."


Josh has been working with Transformation clients since 2020. He brings his 20+ years of nutrition and personal training experience with his recent coaching certifications to help his clients achieve their goals. He is passionate about natural health, providing mindset and tactical solutions and challenging the 'health paradigm' that most people subscribe to.

MICHAEL MATTEAZZI

Growing up as an avid sports enthusiast with limited competitive experience, he pursued a degree in Sport Management at Brock University. This academic path eventually led him into the business side of sports, where he worked in the administration of gyms dedicated to training high-performing hockey players.


While working in this capacity, Mike found his passion for fitness growing and decided to shift his career focus toward becoming a trainer. He committed to his goal by earning his certification as a CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.


Mike's transformative experience with fitness has profoundly impacted his life, motivating him to share its benefits with as many people as possible. He has come to realize that fitness transcends mere physical transformation; it enhances overall well-being, cognitive clarity, dietary choices, and the development of holistic, healthy habits.


Mike decided to combine his passion in mindset, fitness and nutrition to help clients with their own transformation journey. Mike is our newest transformation coach having completed the Stress Reduced Fat Loss™ certification program in 2022.

RICHARD ALM

Richard grew up on the North Shore in Vancouver, BC. Spending time being very active from a young age has shaped his journey towards personal training. 


Beginning in the early 2000's, Richard wanted to be fit and help others in the early stages of his training career. Once he realized there was so much more to being healthy, his education took a progressive turn. 'I took some high level nutrition and hormone courses that opened my eyes to an endless route of knowledge that still burns inside me today'.


From strength training to stretching, nutrition to hormones and finishing with neurotherapy (nervous system training), Richard has acquired a large tool bag that he uses when leading his clients to their goals.



'It is important to be strong but it may be more important to give the body what it needs to be optimized', says Richard. He believes that all humans need to be able to see, balance, move, breathe and digest well before anything else.

HEATHER LAYTON

Heather is our lead Femme Fusion coach. She has been a personal trainer, nutrition and accountability coach for over 20 years. She joined Nova Health Club to help spearhead the Women’s Transformation program. 


Her goal is simple - to help people make their exercise and health routine be as easy as lunch – it’s just something you do that you look forward to. 


At a young age Heather had heart surgery. She’ll tell you that having her heart stopped scared her into wondering if she would come out of the surgery. Waking up, realizing she was okay, made her focus on doing everything she could to protect her health in a reasonable and sustainable way. Heather is just as passionate about having fun with food, cocktails, travel and nature, as she is about healthy eating and workouts. 


One of Heather’s greatest strengths is helping people develop the skill of self-control around food – a skill she had to develop herself to work through stressful times in order to reach and maintain fitness goals. 

 

Heather is passionate about helping people get off the couch and live the life they really want to be living. She helps them get the energy they need to do the things that are important to them, whether it’s for hobbies when they get home from work, hiking with their partner, or keeping up with kids or grandkids – people don’t want to be left out, they want to feel alive and have fun!
